Amplifier Hub community guidelines

The purpose of the CaringBridge Amplifier Hub Community is to empower our most ardent advocates to share the value of CaringBridge to help more families in need. The community provides a secure environment for CaringBridge amplifiers to interact, share stories, and discuss how to raise awareness about CaringBridge.

no inappropriate content

Respect is a priority in this community. Please extend courtesy and respect to fellow members at all times. Please refrain from inflammatory and defamatory comments as well as personal attacks, taunting and general disrespect. If you disagree with another’s opinion, please explain why respectfully.

Please keep all content in your post in the public forum focused on the stated topic of the thread. We reserve the right to remove any content in our sole discretion.

You may not post content that:

• Violates any copyright, trademark rights, patent rights, rights in know-how, privacy or publicity rights, trade secret rights, confidentiality rights, contract rights, or other rights of any individual or legal entity;
• Is harmful; hateful; threatening; abusive; harassing; defamatory or libelous; sexually explicit, vulgar, lewd, obscene, or pornographic; racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable or offensive; inappropriate; or inflammatory;
• You know (or reasonably should know) is false, deceptive or misleading;
• Contains information that could be used for identity theft purposes, such social security numbers, credit card, bank account or other financial information, driver’s license numbers, security codes or passwords;
• Contains private or sensitive information about any other individual, such as information about that person’s sex life, political opinions, criminal charges or convictions, religious or philosophical beliefs, physical or mental health conditions, or other sensitive matters, without first obtaining that person’s express permission;
• Contains the image, name, or likeness of anyone other than yourself, unless that person is over 18 and you have first obtained that individual’s express permission;
• Links to materials or other content, directly or indirectly, to which you do not have a right to link or that violates these restrictions;
• Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law; or
• Is inconsistent with the values or the spirit of the CaringBridge Amplifier Hub Community.

You may not use the Site:

• For any commercial purpose, including using CaringBridge solely to advertise, promote or sell products or services;
• To harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information of other users by electronic or other means for the purposes of sending unsolicited emails or other unsolicited communications; or
• In a manner that we determine, in our sole discretion, restricts or inhibits any other user from using or enjoying the Site.

user accounts

Each user is allowed to create one membership account. If you would like to change your username, please contact us before doing so. Multiple accounts for the same user may cause each to be subject to deletion, including the primary account.

guard your personal information

We discourage members from posting personal information such as telephone number, home address, or other specific information that may make your location easily discovered by others. If you’d like to share such information with other members, we advise you to do so with great forethought and caution, and only via the private messaging system. Be aware that CaringBridge cannot be held liable or responsible for any damages incurred as a result of sharing private or personal information. reporting problems

Because of the live nature of the discussions on this Site, it is not possible for CaringBridge to review and/or confirm the accuracy and/or validity of all content prior to posting. If you believe someone has violated the Community Guidelines, please report it to the administrator at amplifier@CaringBridge.org.
